يبدو أن دوقة ساسكس، ، غيرُ مرحبٍ بها في الإعلام البريطاني، لذا عادةً ما يبذلُ جهودًا مضنيةً لينتقدها بشكلٍ مستمر، ويضعها دائمًا في خانة المغضوب عليهم، وفي المقابل يسلط الضوء على كيت ميدلتون ويمنحها قدرًا كبيرًا ومكانةً عالية.

منذ انضمامها للعائلة الملكية البريطانية، تبذل ماركل قصارى جهدها لإثبات وجودها وقبولها ضمن المجتمع البريطاني، سواء بمشاركتها في الأعمال الخيرية أو بإطلالاتها التي تستوحيها بلا شك من الراحلة أميرة القلوب ديانا، بالإضافةِ إلى روحها المرحة التي تقربها من الشعب البريطاني من خلال الزيارات الميدانية.

لكن يبدو أنَّ هذه الجهود ذهبت أدراج الرياح، فبحسب تقارير صحفية، تشعر ماركل بالإحباط وخيبة الأمل، كما أنها تشعر بالوحدة والغصة نتيجة ما يقوم به الاعلام البريطاني، من محاولاتٍ ظالمة للمقارنة الدائمة بينها وبين دوقة كامبريدج كيت ميدلتون تجعلها الخاسرةُ دائما.

After quiet visits to Smartworks over the last year, The Duchess was moved by the impactful work being done by this non profit organisation that helps women into the workforce, equipping them with both the skills and clothes they need to feel job-ready. Throughout her visits she noticed that while the donations were plentiful, they were also notably a combination of mismatched items and colours which weren’t always the right stylistic choices or sizes that didn’t necessarily “suit” the job at hand: to make a woman feel confident and inspired as she walked into her job interview. As a result, launching this autumn, The Duchess will be supporting a collective to help equip the women of Smart Works with the key workwear essentials they need as they enter into the workplace. This initiative is supported by four generous brands who share the vision to empower the women of Smart Works to look and feel 💯 as they bravely venture in to what can often be a daunting environment for those who have been out of the job market. The brands have come together to work towards this united force for good, “[reframing] the idea of charity as community,” as The Duchess writes in a piece for this month’s British Vogue. They will follow the 1:1 model where an item from the collection purchased is an item shared with a woman of Smart Works because “not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story; it reminds us we are in it together.” For more information on how you can be part of another woman’s success story visit @smartworkscharity. خلال زيارتها الأخيرة لإيطاليا، بذلت ماركل جهودًا مضنية لمساعدة البشر، من خلال منصتها الخيرية لكنها لم تجني ثمار هذه الأعمال، بل انقلبت كالعدة ضدها، ويُمثلُ وضعُ كيت في مكانةٍ عالية مقارنة بماركل وفرضُ الأولى معاييراً للوجود يصعب على ماركل الوصول إليها الجزء الأكبر من المشكلة بحسب مصدر لصحيفة "Us Weekly، فضلاً عن عرض هذه المقارنات على الرأي العام البريطاني، ما يؤثر على ماركل في المحصلة.

كما تتعرض ماركل للنقد العنصري من قبل الصحف البريطانية، لا سيّما الصحف الكبرى التي تلقى صدى مميزاً عند البريطانيين، لكنها تفتقد الكثير من المعايير المهنية المنصفة والكيل بمكيالين فهي من ناحية تنتقد تصرفاتها ولا تسمح لها بالدفاع عن نفسها من ناحيةٍ أخرى.

بعبارةٍ أكثر وضوحًا، هناك الكثير من العوامل التي تشير إلى ظلم ماركل من قبل الاعلام البريطاني، ولم تظهر بعد أي مؤشرات تدل على صدور بياناتٍ من الأمير هاري أو ماركل أو ممثلين عنهما، تدافع عن ماركل وتبعد عنها هذه المحاولات الظالمة لتشويه صورتها فهي في النهاية بشر ولها الحق في الحياة مثل كيت وبقية أفراد العائلة الملكية التي تنتمي إليها.
